Job Overview
The Flow Group provides multiple marketing and fulfilment services, including direct mail, hybrid mail and pick & pack. A robust and ever-evolving technology-based foundation supports all our services. Thanks to continual growth, we are looking for an IT savvy apprentice to join our Technology Department. The role will be diverse, fast-paced and exciting for anyone wishing to excel in the IT and Software Development arena.
Job Role
1. Maintaining of internal servers, including the Exchange server, fileserver database servers and Firewall
2. Keeping all desktop PCs and Mac up to date with the latest patches
3. Maintaining our IT security, keeping antivirus and anti-malware software up to date on desktops and the Firewall
4. Daily checking of scheduled backups
5. Weekly manual backups
6. Comprehensive learning of our network structure so you can help with reorganising and any ongoing maintenance
7. Programming of VOIP phones
8. Installation and setup of any new IT equipment, including desktops, tablets, desktop phones and print equipment
9. Maintaining the internal asset database detailing all active IT equipment
10. Involvement in pre-production elements for specific services

Basic Job Details
Start Date: From w/c 13/12/21.
Contract: Permanent, with a 3 month probation period.
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week Monday-Friday.
Salary: Starting at £4.50 p/h. This will increase to £5.50 p/h on successfully passing your probation period. You will also be entitled to join our Pension Scheme.
