Experienced Sales Consultant

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Sales Consultant to join our sales & marketing team. At The Flow Group, we sell artwork for print, business print, door-to-door distribution, direct mail, 3PL and contract packing. We are after someone who thinks outside the box and will help us get to the next level with how we look after and grow our client base. Sales experience is essential, but not necessarily in print marketing or fulfilment. 


Purpose: The core purpose of a Sales Consultant is to educate, advise and provide solutions for new leads and existing customers to build their business as simply as possible. When performed effectively, the results and ultimate measurement of your success will come from the value of recurring gross profit you drive into the company.

Job Role: To respond to new inbound leads from marketing activities and to look after existing customers. Customer contact is mainly by phone and email. Sales Consultants sell artwork for print, business print, door-to-door distribution, direct mail, 3PL and contract packing. 


Daily Duties: 

Deal with enquiries and take bookings for new, existing and potential clients following the processes laid out on our CRM software, which typically include:

  1. Respond to the new leads.
  2. Qualify.
  3. Data Gathering.
  4. Create and send quotes.
  5. Follow up.
  6. Onboard new clients.
  7. Follow up, cross-sell & request testimonials.


Contribute to the Team:

    • Assist other colleagues with their duties where needed.
    • Help ensure the office is presentable. 
    • Contribute to strategy as a whole, particularly sales and marketing, including blog writing, social media posts and PR. 
    • Attend and contribute to monthly 1-on-1 and department meetings.
    • Attend staff socials as much as possible. 
    • Partake in internal and external training covering our services and performance enhancement (e.g. sales training, creating effective artwork).
    • Learn how to do production-based roles to better understand our products and services, which you can pass on to our clients.


KPIs: A Sales Consultants KPIs are:

  1. Value of GP from sales p/m
  2. No. of multi-stage campaigns signed p/m 
  3. No. of 5* testimonials received p/m
